Echoes of a Season is a deeply personal memoir, set against the unforgettable summer of 1992 on Spain’s Costa Brava. It tells the story of my time as a tour representative — a role that changed my life and shaped who I am today. This tells the story adventure filled with surf, sun, cultural immersion, unexpected love, and life-altering choices.
This book isn’t just about working abroad; it’s about the freedom of youth, the friendships that define you, and those rare, fleeting moments in life that feel utterly infinite. From moonlit swims to wild guest antics, from late-night tapas with local friends to early morning hotel briefings, it captures the magic of travel in a pre-digital world — before smartphones and social media shaped every experience.
I wrote Echoes of a Season not only to revisit the journey but also to honour the people and places that made that time unforgettable. For anyone who has ever worked abroad, fallen in love in a foreign land, or simply longed for the kind of summer that stays with you forever — this book is for you.
